When my ferret Mischa was diagnosed with reduced lung function and blood oxygen, I was very distressed. But then the vet told us that there was a company that made special pet oxygen chambers for home use, which would allow Mischa to have a longer and more comfortable life.
We called Pawprint Oxygen right away and Nicole could not have been more helpful, kind and compassionate.
She answered all our questions thoroughly and patiently and helped us place the order, so we'd have the chamber ready for Mischa when he got released from the hospital.
Because Mischa would have to be in the chamber most nights, and whenever I had to be out for more than a few hours, I decided to get him the large size, so he could move around and have his food station and bathroom facilities, as well as a comfy bed, in there.
We are so pleased with this product! It is very easy to use, and Mischa seems quite content when he is inside. The chamber is light weight and the concentrator has wheels, so it is easy to change its location in the house.
I can keep an eye on him through the clear sides and top, and he can see what's going on around him. His sister Sasha can even join him in there sometimes to keep him company.

I waited to write a review because I wasn’t sure how my dog Maddie would respond to system. I had already introduced her to the Pet Rescue Oxygen kit and she adapted to the mask but treatments were too short due to air in canister(s). Since we want to keep her home with us I decided to purchase the therapy bundle for my CHF, 8 pound dog with veterinarian approval. The staff at Pawprint were great helping me on the phone and quick to assist with a tubing issue I experienced while setting up the system. It has been a month now and the oxygen 20-30 minute therapy sessions has made a remarkable change in my dog’s breathing! On days she struggles breathing, we use the oxygen chamber. My dog suffers from collapsing trachea. He had a really bad breathing episode a few weeks ago and meds weren't cutting it so I ordered the oxygen chamber set. Customer service was fantastic. They quickly got vet approval and got it out to me (i did pay for expedited shipping) and even with needing vet approval in came on friday (ordered late wed).
I hate that my dog needs this but it was nice to be able to put him in it 2xs a day for oxygen support. It really seemed to help him and it certainly reduced my stress levels. And now I don't need to take him to an emergency vet for oxygen. With his condition it will only continue to get worse but having oxygen on hand helps me not be as stressed and can be a life saver for him.

This machine extended my dog’s life by magnitudes and drastically improved her quality of life, all the way to the end. The machine boots up faster than advertised and delivers a constant stream of high quality, condensed, oxygen to a mask or ventilation chamber.
If your pet is skittish, or distrustful of loud humming machine noise, I recommend getting a longer hose to place the unit further away, as it is quite noisy. Worth the noise, but worth noting as well. Another benefit of the longer hose is to run it through a bucket of ice water, to cool the air down before entering a ventilation chamber; not so necessary when used with a mask.
The machine can get a little warm with prolonged usage (more than 20min), so make sure to place it in a spot with adequate ventilation. The unit is on wheels and can be easily turned to choose the direction of the warm exhaust.
Overall, this was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It improved my senior dog’s life by an unbelievable extent, after her cancer diagnosis. I also learned that it made the at-home euthanasia process a lot easier on her body, giving her a much more peaceful experience. Not only that, but I’m keeping it to help rescued animals in the future, as well as any friends with pets in need. Absolutely zero regrets, here!
If you’re on the fence about whether or not this is worth the money, I sincerely recommend taking the plunge. I would also recommend making sure you have both a mask and a ventilation chamber, in order to provide multiple options to your pet and reduce the added stress.

I have put my Chihuahua in it several times. A few times just to get her use to it, and a few times because I thought she could use some O2 due to humidity and heat. Worked well. She isn't afraid to be in O2 cage at all. Like the extra long tubing allowing me to take her on the couch with me. Nice to have this at home in case she needs it. Gives me peace of mind that I am able to give her O2 if needed. Of course if she is real distress I will take her to the Vet,I also have the portable O2 setup on hand to transfer her to Vet. Would recommend this company and it's products. Any questions I had were answered .promptly

The product is good and we are hoping is helping our little furbaby who has COPD. However, we paid for overnight shipping and that didn't occur. While it wasn't the fault of Pawprint Oxygen, I have yet to hear back from anyone at Pawprint regarding the claim they filed with UPS or how things were going to be handled. It was a large amount of money for the shipping so a follow up and partial refund would be appropriate and appreciated.

My dog suffers from pulmonary hypertension. After the third ER visit and watching him go into the oxygen chamber in the ER and seeing the immediate response, I knew it was time for me to purchase one. Every ER visit cost me over $1000 so aside from paying for itself, I would pay even more to have the peace of mind of knowing I have an option in my home in an emergency. I highly recommend the face mask along with the oxygen tent. I use the mask more than anything for just a quick pick me up when he’s catching his breath. Yes, Pawprint Oxygen sells medical-grade, continuous flow Oxygen Concentrators that support a safe environment for your pet during oxygen therapy. We have two models:
In order to achieve safe levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, heat, and humidity inside your Oxygen Chamber, you need to supply it with a continuous flow, medical-grade Oxygen Concentrator. Your Oxygen Concentrator needs to be able to produce >90% oxygen at flow rates from 5 to 10 liters per minute.
The Medium Oxygen Chamber requires a flow rate of at least 5 liters per minute. The Large Oxygen Chamber requires a flow rate of 10 liters per minute.
No, you do not need to refill an Oxygen Concentrator. It constantly generates oxygen from the room air, so you never need to worry about running out of oxygen.
These machines are very easy to use and require little maintenance. Other than the occasional wipe-down to remove excess dust and debris, there are two filters within the concentrator. The first filter you’ll see on the back is the pre-mesh filter. This can be removed and rinsed as needed with warm soapy water and allowed to dry completely before putting it back on the machine (much like your vacuum’s sponge filter). Behind the pre-mesh filter is the Box filter, which does not need to be replaced until you’ve reached 5,000 hours (the hour-meter is the small digital display on the side of the unit) or one year of steady use.
Yes we do! Our concentrators can be rented on a monthly basis or purchased outright. Our rental option is perfect for pets who may need a lot of oxygen but not for a long period of time, such as those recovering from pneumonia or other short-term illnesses, as well as pets who may have an uncertain prognosis.
Our PureVent 5L model can be rented for $250/month and the PureVent 10L model can be rented for $350/month. These units come with brand new oxygen tubing and a pre-paid return label for your convenience.
