Which size PureVent mask should I buy?

Choose by your pet's weight and face shape. Small fits cats and dogs under 5 lbs (2.7" deep, 3" diameter). Medium fits pets 5–22 lbs (3.7" deep, 3" diameter). Large fits pets over 22 lbs and flat-faced breeds (5" deep, 4.5" diameter). If you're between sizes, measure your pet's muzzle and size up.

How do I use the PureVent Pet Oxygen Mask?

Connect the tubing and start the oxygen flow. Hold the mask about 6 inches from your pet's face so they can get used to the airflow. Then slowly bring it over their muzzle. On smaller pets it may cover most of the head. Most pets settle once they start to feel the oxygen working.

What oxygen sources does the mask work with?

Should I use a mask or an oxygen chamber?

A mask is great for short sessions, emergencies, travel, and calm pets who tolerate something on their face. A chamber is hands-free and better for longer sessions, anxious pets, or overnight use. Many owners keep both. Your vet can help you decide what's best for your pet.

How do I clean my PureVent mask?

Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse it several times in clean water, and let it air-dry before the next use. Chlorhexidine solution or wipes also work for sanitizing between uses.

Poor fit - standard poodle (large)

I went by the weight provided as a guide and that was a mistake. The medium mask says up to 22 lbs and, as my dog is 65 lbs, figured the large was needed. However, it is not close.

I would completely ignore the weight guidance and only use the diameter. Should not even by shown, IMO. Can't speak to quality as it's unusable.

I'm to blame as well, but as a non-vet buyer of these products, be aware.

Have not had to use it yet. Thank the lord. But it looks sturdy enough to do the job.

Better for my Chihuahua

I like the medium mask as it covers his facemaking it easier to keep over his nose. He weighs 7lbs and has more ofva pointy nose. The smaller mask is ok for a flatter nosed Chi.
