The bridge to emergency care

When your pet shows signs of respiratory distress, these portable kits deliver life-stabilizing oxygen at home or in transport, buying critical time to get to the vet. Not a replacement for veterinary treatment—the reliable bridge that gets your pet there safely.

Ready in seconds, ready for any pet

Setup takes under 30 seconds, and kits are sized by weight rather than species, so the same components work for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, small mammals, and birds - just select their weight! No prescription needed and printed instructions in every kit.

Dependable when you need it most

With a two-year canister seal guarantee and an easy-to-read regulator gauge, you can confirm your kit is ready long before an emergency. Our kits also feature quiet-tech delivery, ensuring pets actually receive treatment.

Everything you need to know about our kits

Rescue oxygen kits are critical tools pet owners can use for transport or emergency rescue care at home. Whether your pet has a predetermined health condition or you want to build out your first aid kit, this kit is for you.
Watch for signs of respiratory distress: coughing, excessive panting, "belly breathing," blue or purple gums or tongue, collapse, loud or honking breathing, or open-mouth breathing in cats. If you notice any of these, oxygen can stabilize your pet while you head to emergency care. A rescue kit isn't a replacement for veterinary treatment — it's the bridge that gets your pet there safely.
Choose by your pet's weight, not species. Our kits are organized by weight range because that determines mask size and oxygen flow rate. The Dog and Cat kits use the same components and work for any small animal in the listed weight range — including cats, dogs, ferrets, rabbits, small mammals, and birds. If your pet is on the cusp of two ranges, always size up. The K9 Rescue Oxygen Kit is built for fire, EMS, and first-responder use — it ships with two mask sizes to fit a wider range of animals on scene and a higher 3.0 LPM regulator for larger dogs.
Setup takes under 30 seconds. Connect one end of the tubing to the regulator and the other to your mask, push and twist the regulator onto the canister to start oxygen flow, placing the PureVent mask near your pet's face — you don't need a tight seal, and forcing one can stress a distressed animal. Twist the regulator back to stop flow and save remaining oxygen for later. Every kit ships with printed instructions, and our customer support team is available Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST if you have questions.
The canister seal carries a two-year guarantee from the batch date. Stored properly in a cool, dry place, your canisters can last well beyond that. The gauge on your regulator lets you check oxygen levels anytime, so you'll always know your kit is ready before you need it.
No — the FAA prohibits canned oxygen on aircraft, in checked or carry-on bags. If you're traveling with a pet who may need oxygen at your destination, we can ship a kit directly to your hotel or destination address so it's waiting when you arrive.
We ship anywhere in the continental US (excluding Hawaii and Puerto Rico). Orders placed Monday–Friday before 3:30 PM EST ship the same day. Per oxygen shipping regulations, Next Day Air is not available for products containing oxygen canisters — ground shipping only. A typical domestic order will arrive, on average, in 1-2 business days.

Terminology Guide

Rescue oxygen

Short-term, emergency oxygen delivered on-scene or during transport to stabilize a pet in respiratory distress until you reach veterinary care. Designed for fast, over-the-counter emergency use rather than extended therapy.

Respiratory distress

Difficulty breathing that signals a medical emergency. Warning signs include coughing, excessive panting, "belly breathing," blue or purple gums or tongue, collapse, loud or honking breathing, or open-mouth breathing in cats. Learn how to check your pet for signs of respiratory distress here.

Oxygen saturation (SpO₂)

A measure of how much oxygen is in your pet's blood, often checked with a pulse oximeter. Low readings can indicate the need for oxygen support or emergency care.

Oxygen canister

A portable, pre-filled source of emergency pure 99% oxygen used in rescue kits for fast, on-the-go delivery. Carries a two-year seal guarantee from batch date and ships ground only per FAA oxygen regulations. Canisters are temperature resistant and safe to travel with.

Flow regulator (LPM)

The component that controls oxygen flow rate, measured in liters per minute (LPM), so delivery can be matched to the size of the animal. When you select the weight of your pet, this dictates the flow rate you'll receive. Think of it as a built in RX!

PureVent mask

A veterinary-grade oxygen mask designed to fit the muzzle shapes of dogs, cats, and other animals. A tight seal isn't required—forcing one can stress a distressed pet. This design features a tri-vent technology in the back of the mask, expelling harmful CO2.

Over-the-counter (OTC)

Available for purchase without a veterinary prescription. All rescue oxygen kits ship OTC; only medical-grade concentrators require an RX.
