Got questions?
Built for the Field. Trusted at Home.
Common questions about our K9 trauma kits, emergency oxygen, bleeding control, and pet poison response — for working dogs and the pets who matter most.
The K9 Rescue Oxygen Kit is focused on respiratory emergencies — smoke inhalation, heat stress, post-pursuit recovery, and respiratory distress. It includes oxygen canisters, two PureVent mask sizes, a 3.0 LPM regulator, and tubing. The K9 Trauma First Aid Kit is the comprehensive field solution: it includes the full oxygen delivery system plus 30+ trauma components — HemoSEAL wound spray, a chest seal, trauma shears, rolled gauze, activated charcoal, a rescue litter, muzzle, leash, and collar — all housed in a tactical sling bag for rapid deployment. Choose the rescue kit if your team needs oxygen capability; choose the trauma kit if you need an all-in-one mission-ready loadout.
Our EMS line is built for law enforcement K9 units, fire departments, search and rescue teams, working dog handlers, and veterinary professionals — but the kits work for any animal, not just dogs. The components are sized for cats, dogs, small mammals, and birds. Pet owners with high-risk lifestyles (hiking, hunting, rural living, multi-pet households) also use them as a comprehensive home emergency kit.
HemoSEAL Critical Wound Spray is an FDA-cleared, chitosan-based hemostatic spray that rapidly stops bleeding from traumatic wounds. Chitosan is a natural biopolymer that interacts with blood on contact to form a gel-like barrier, accelerating natural clotting and helping animals retain more blood while you transport to care. It's non-toxic, non-staining, and sting-free — safe for sensitive areas where traditional hemostatic powders or gauze are difficult to apply. Available in single, 3-pack, and 12-pack options.
ReadyRESCUE is veterinary-grade activated carbon for pets who have ingested something toxic — chocolate, grapes, raisins, xylitol, human medications, recreational drugs, toxic plants, rodent poison, or unknown substances. It binds toxins in the GI tract before they're absorbed into the bloodstream. Use it as soon as you suspect ingestion: every minute a toxin spends in the gut is a minute closer to the bloodstream. ReadyRESCUE is sorbitol-free (unlike many conventional activated charcoals), 4–7× more dense than standard formulas so doses are smaller and easier to administer, and has a 5-year shelf life. When in doubt, it's safe to give — if no toxin was ingested, it passes through harmlessly.
No. Every product in this collection — the K9 Trauma First Aid Kit, K9 Rescue Oxygen Kit, HemoSEAL Wound Spray, and ReadyRESCUE — ships over the counter without a prescription. Only our medical-grade oxygen concentrators require an RX, because they're intended for ongoing therapy rather than emergency rescue use.
Identify your pet's weight, then measure the dose per the chart on the vial — generally a half vial for pets 15 lbs and under, one full vial for larger pets. Mix it with a small amount of pet food, water, or a palatable substitute like yogurt and make sure your pet consumes the entire dose. Administer within one hour of ingestion for maximum effect. Then call your vet or pet poison control to share what was ingested and that ReadyRESCUE has been given. Don't administer if your pet is unconscious, seizing, or unable to swallow — go straight to emergency care.
We ship anywhere in the continental US (excluding Hawaii and Puerto Rico). Orders placed Monday–Friday before 3:30 PM EST ship the same day via UPS ground. Per oxygen shipping regulations, kits containing oxygen canisters (the K9 Trauma Kit and K9 Rescue Oxygen Kit) ship ground only — Next Day Air is not available. HemoSEAL and ReadyRESCUE ship without those restrictions, so faster shipping methods are available at checkout.
